  • SMARTSCOPE™ MULTIFAMILY ESTIMATING SUITE – END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

    Version 1.0 – Issued by ATAE LLC

    This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (“Licensee”) and ATAE LLC (“Licensor”) governing the use of the SmartScope™ Multifamily Estimating Suite, including all associated scripts (.ssx), templates, documentation, trial files, and any future updates (“Software”).

    1. LICENSE GRANT

    Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited-use license to install, access, and use the Software for internal estimating purposes on one company device or workstation. This license applies solely to the version purchased or granted as a trial.

    2. AUTHORIZED USE

    Licensee may:

    • Use the Software to generate takeoffs, proposals, and estimates for multifamily construction projects.

    • Modify pricing or unit quantities within provided Excel or Word templates.

    • Create customer-facing proposals using outputs from the Software.

    Licensee may not:

    • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share any portion of the Software.

    • Reverse-engineer, decrypt, or tamper with the .ssx SmartScript™ files.

    • Use the Software for commercial consulting or as a service without express written permission.

    3. TRIAL VERSION LIMITATIONS

    If Licensee received a trial version:

    • Trial access is valid for 24 hours from download.

    • Trial files are watermarked and contain limited script output.

    • Trial use is for evaluation only and must not be used in live proposals or resale.

    4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

    All rights, titles, and interest in and to the Software, including but not limited to text, code, layout, file structure, automation logic, and AI script prompts, remain the exclusive property of ATAE LLC. This license does not transfer ownership of any part of the Software.

    5. NO WARRANTY / LIABILITY

    The Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ATAE LLC is not liable for errors, omissions, or losses resulting from the use of this Software. It is the Licensee’s responsibility to verify all quantities and pricing.

    6. TERMINATION

    This license will terminate automatically if:

    • Licensee violates any term of this Agreement.

    • Licensee engages in unauthorized distribution or duplication.
      Upon termination, Licensee must cease all use and destroy any remaining copies of the Software.

    7. GOVERNING LAW

    This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. All disputes shall be resolved in Skagit County jurisdiction.

    By downloading, installing, or using the Software, Licensee agrees to be bound by this Agreement.
